Data We Can Believe In: Changing the Game through Research, Insights & Action
Join Dr. Simon Darnell (Director, University of Toronto Centre for Sport Policy), Marika Warner (Director, Research &
Evaluation, MLSE) and Bryan Heal (Change the Game Research Lead, MLSE) for a conversation on advancing meaningful action toward youth sport access, engagement and equity goals through research.

In this 60-minute virtual event, attendees will:
  • Hear behind the scenes stories about the past, present & future vision of the Change the Game research movement and ideas for reforming sport through positive development outcomes
  • Learn about the “why” of demographic data collection including race, and the potential value, opportunities and risks for community organizations to consider with their participants
  • Discuss practical strength-based approaches for how you can use research insights to advance engagement, equity and anti-racism goals in youth and/or sport environment
